Who's all coming to the Boyfriend/Girlfriend acoustic gig at the Goat in Glasgow this Sunday? It is in the West End in Glasgow in a fairly swanky bar called the Goat not far from mine and F. Vincent's place of student rest. I am told it kicks off at 8, BFGF start at 9, and it's FREE to get in. should be good. If you wanna know where the goat is, here's my best directions. Going along Dumbarton Road with the Kelvinhall Sports place and Transport Museum on your right you will eventually come to a 'V' at the end of the road. Take the right road of the V next to a BP garage and go straight along that road for until you see the Goat on your right (it's next to a mosque). If you're coming from the City Centre (which is probably more likely, now that I think about it), basically you head to the west end along Argyll Street (parallel with sauchiehall street at this point). I think Argyll must be miles long or something but basically really far along it towards the west end (Kelvingrove Museum bla bla) and on your left there's a fairly large Christian Church. Keep going, then on your left pretty soon you'll see the Goat.
Also, if you're coming from Glasgow Uni direction, go right to the bottom of Kelvinway (don't go in the park!!!) until u get to a cross roads. go straight across the crossroads and infront of you on the corner is THE GOAT.
anyway, that's the adventure trail. If you want to get a taxi, it's 1287 Argyle Street.

thanks to those who came. seemed to go ok, which was a bit of a relief after our last show. i was pretty psyched to find out that the guy who ran the thing was a main member of the reindeer section, which is pretty cool in my book. you missed a pretty good drunk eastern european guy who came in later after you'd gone
next show is at Grubowski's Tavern in Larbert on the 13th of April. Thats an over 18s show only, but i'd thought i'd tell you all. other confirmed gigs are: 5.12.06 Tolbooth, Stirling 5.15.06 Baby Blue, Glasgow 5.26.06 Studio 4, Falkirk

on sunday the 29th of october, boyfriend/girlfriend are releasing their debut EP on localism records. to celebrate this, they are playing a show at pivo pivo on waterloo street, glasgow. you may have heard that this is a localism show, but this guise is merely to get people to come.
you are invited to this show.
the ep, featuring three tracks, will be sold for £2 each. please buy one. even if you feel the music is dire, the artwork has a nice gimmick that you may appreciate.
we hope that releasing it on a sunday will give us an extra day to push it into the charts ahead of other pop singles.
if you check the boyfriend/girlfriend myspace page, you can hear a nice new recording taken from that EP. more songs will be up in the next few weeks.
