CAPTAIN RICOCHETCaptain Ricochet are a four-piece band from bonny auld Doune who have been messing around for just about a kabillion years. Once their drummer (Jordan Fisher) stopped turning up to practises the band started writing material. They thought this sounded pretty d**n cool – so Naomi swapped over to drums from guitar and Adam threw his sax out the window when it was discovered that he could sing. Their sound varies from the screaming alt-rock of ‘Don’t Go (We Love You)', to the quirky acoustics of ‘Avoid the Tree’, mainly due to the bands varied music tastes and influences, which range from Blur to Bowie. The band has released their first EP ‘Hooray for Captain Ricochet!’ and is hoping to gig as soon as possible. Adam Todd- vox and sax Camerooney Haughey – guitar and keyboards Tom Wallace – bass Nomeli Todd – drums and guitar MP3: Don't Go (We Love You) - taken from 'Hooray For Captain Ricochet' (£2)

Everything I no about Captain Ricochet (which isn't that much as Naomi isn't v informative and only told me their name when she released their EP) They are made up of Naomi Todd, Tom Wallace, Cameron Haughey and Adam Todd and their EP ( Hurray for Captain Ricochet) is well worth a listen because I think it's a little bit diffferent from the other McLaren Bands in sound and style. I got mine from Naomi but I think any memeber can sell u 1 and theyre about 2 quid.

i'd agree with sarah. its good that theres a new band that is playing another genre of music from the other bands around, and the CD is worth a listen. i imagine they'd be bouncing live. we'll have all the details, picture and mp3 up soon

Wow! Thanks for getting this up.
I must agree duncs. Toms beard is well......impressive may not be the word. Odd would perhaps be more fitting.
