Panda & SiobhanWe are a fiddle/guitar duo from Killin and Callander, and we play music that we like (including some Siobhan Anderson originals, such as 'THE SWEETIE JAR'!). We are both only 17 years old, and as a result we are often forced to practice in school uniform. We hope you like what you can hear. www.myspace.com/pandasiobhanAndy Watt/PandaMyspace: Andy WattPanda is:Guitars (electric and acoustic), percussion, bass: Panda Moral Support: Duncan Mckenzie In the winter of '89, a day before Christmas, a baby was born (as they so often are these days). In the years that followed this baby had many adventures, astounding people with his grasp of the alphabet, not to mention his other-worldly dancing skills. As the baby grew into an 8-year old he decided that playing guitar would be a cool thing to do, so he borrowed his sisters acoustic guitar and learnt 'Karma Police' by Radiohead. This was the height of his career. He now writes and records instrumental music (bar the Justin Hawkins tribute 'I believe in a thing called Justin' in which he demonstrates his vocal prowess). To listen to the wealth of material that is the repertoire of Panda click HERE and click 'hi-fi' or 'lo-fi'. He will gladly put all tracks onto a CD for you, for a nominal service charge of 50p. If you have anything to say to Panda then email him at this address: pandy.watt@gmail(dot)com (obviously remove the "dot" in favour of a good old '.')

Thanks. Just to let you all know, I've just added a new song entitled 'Midnight on the Moon'. It features a drum solo by Lars Ulrich*.
*This isn't true.

Thanks for updating my profile Rob.
If anyone's at all interested (and I doubt you will be, but what the hell...) I now have a "mailing list" on soundclick, so if you want to be sent a nice wee email whenever I add a song to my page then go to my site and click the "join artist mailing list" option to the right of your screen.
Anyway, that's about all I have to say.
If you have taken the time to read this post then you are wonderful and I love you.

Well in that case I would love to! Joseph's one would probably be the most convenient for me. Could you fill me in on general start/finish time and the like? Oh, and I don't actually know where Joseph lives.....

Loved the set last night Panda, some of the stuff you were playing looked really complex. Liked the jazzy stuff you did.

Wow, thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it!
On a sort of related note - on Sunday I decided to record one of the songs I played called 'I hope', so if you want to hear what it was SHOULD have sounded like without the deliberate mistakes then feel free to take an electronic visit to my soundclick webpage.
I enjoyed your set too Jamie - the riff in 'munich mannequins' (sp?) is awesome - I reckon you should do a power metal version of it (then again, maybe not....)

Evening all, just to let you know, I added my acoustic rendition of Norah Jones's 'Don't Know Why' to my soundclick page today, so if you feel like boogeying on over and having a listen then feel free to do so, and if you have any comments - be them good, bad or indeed ugly - I'd love to hear them. Thanks, Panda.

There's YET ANOTHER new tune on my soundclick page. I should just warn you that it contains ABSOLUTELY NO distortion whatsoever, so be careful all you crazy metalheads.

all your tunes are great esply "midnight on the moon"!! Ta! Just thought I'd let you all know that you can now listen to, download and, if you're feeling funky, dance to a couple of tunes that me and the amazing Siobhan Anderson recorded recently HERE. Furthermore, you can be-friend us on our shiny new myspace account HERE, if you're into that kind of thing. Also, if you like what you hear and feel the urge to come and see us play for real then we'll be playing during the interval of the ceilidh in Thornhill community hall on December 15th. Cheers! Panda.

Me and Siobhan will be playing in the foyer of the Macrobert arts Centre at 12 noon on Monday 18th of December. It's free to come and watch, so if any of you feel like skipping school/uni/college/work to come and see us then you're more than welcome!
Also, tickets are now very much on sale for the Thornhill ceilidh on the 15th, so if you want to come to that then speak to Lucy.

you guys are well the best mclaren band now. nice one. how exactly? I think what he meant to say was that we are the best mclaren folk duo.... Which is TRUE!!!* Anyway, I'm here to draw people's attention to a new recording me and Siobhan have made of her tune 'The Sweetie Jar'. You can listen to it HERE - let us know what you think of the new sound, we'd appreciate any feedback at all. Cheers, Panda. *Yes, Panda & Siobhan ARE the only mclaren folk duo... BUT THEY DON'T CARE!!

Me and Siobhan are playing at the Craigard Hotel in Killin this Thursday (the 8th). Probably a bit far to go for most of you, but I thought I'd tell you anyway. Apparentley Thursday is curry night at the Craigard, so if the food is likely to be good even if the music is crap..... (NB the music will NOT be crap, and if it is, then it's nothing to do with me).
